The Positive impact of education is that education has come a long way from what it was 20 years ago and has become so online based now in those days’ computers were only used for IT lessons but now days IT is used in almost every lesson of schools it saves students time doing research and revision by not having to buy or get books from the library.

During COVID-19 platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Google Classroom became popular platforms to do remote learning with these platforms classes can be held in a remote way with pupils joining in from home and schools can run on a timetable basis with this, during this time teachers set assignments for students on these platforms or on an education based software for pupils to do and pupils also did lessons on sites such as Oak National Academy, BBC Bitesize or other education based software such as Mathswatch and My Maths and during this time schools also provided venerable and disadvantaged pupils with laptops and Mini 4G routers as well and platforms such as teams and google classroom are still used to assign pupils In education assignments instead of the former software schools used before. During the First Lockdown my school was disorganized with an email being sent every week with a timetable and emails with work sent by teachers and they didn’t do any remote learning expect for Year 10 but by the time the 3rd lockdown came around my school was organized.

Social Media

The Positive impact of social media is that it helps small businesses advertise their business on social media services such as Instagram and Facebook and make them grow with customers coming to see what they have on offer, and they can be advertised to a local or national level as well as big businesses advertising on them for potential new customers as well.

It also helps families and friends stay in touch even if they are a continent away and it instantly delivers messages to them as well and nowadays with social media people can also transfer money through it now as well as doing other things as well and it also keeps families together by video calls and their instant messaging services.

In my experience social media helped me see what people were up to in their stories and how are they doing it also helped my discover businesses such as urban outfitters and Selfridges and it also showed guides to some great shops in London to visit while I’m there as well as showing things I am interested in such as IT.

Gaming

The Positive Impact of Gaming is that it can help create jobs in industry’s such as doing Laparoscopic Surgery on patients shows fewer errors made during their surgery, but the sporting industry also benefits on gaming with the growth in

Esports which players compete in competions alongside having opportunities for managerial, coaching and engineering roles alongside being a player in it. But it can also help problem solve issues such as developing a person’s attention to one thing during a job and help improve a person’s decision-making skills and speed skills as many games have time pressure skills. The social aspect of gaming is that you can make new friends on online games or play with a friend or a family member in a 2-5 player mode of a game.

In my experience of gaming I have found exciting things about games such as instant feedback of doing a thing wrong for instance in some games for instance I wanted to improve so I tried my hardest to improve in them and try to get a better score but It also helped me escape reality if I wanted that experience sometimes and during COVID lockdowns for instance I played games every day to pass time and see what new games where out there and because of this I found out more about gaming and played some good games during that time Aswell.

Shopping

People use online shopping often because a person might want to order a thing that might not be found on the High street and if the item is available somewhere else for example London a person might not want to go to a Physical shop in London to buy there specific item but COVID played an impact Aswell due to people being in homes more often someone could just order a product from just a click as people didn’t go out because of the Lockdowns for non-essential items as well as food shopping online also booming around this time as well and it’s just easier for people to shop online with a click of a button instead of going to a typical store.

In my experience I like going around shops in different cities or my local town to have look on what’s on display but I do order online with just a click of a button and I have done it where either I needed to buy something that was online only or the shop not having it in stock but I also read reviews of the site or item not to fall into a scam as well.
